Stanislav Kovárník

Stanislav Kovárník has been a police officer for 25 years. He served at the Economic Crime Department. Since 2008 he has been working at the Cybercrime Department of the Regional Police Directorate of the South Moravian Region, since 2010 as its head.

Since its establishment, the Cybercrime Department has been involved in conducting criminal proceedings in the field of cybercrime. Its scope includes a complete range of fraudulent acts of a property nature, moral offences, child and other defective pornography, extortion in cyberspace and specific attacks on the very essence of computer technology.
