Ondřej Králík

Head of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports at the Vysočina Region

After graduating from the Faculty of Business and Economics at Mendel University in 2010, he joined the Vysočina Regional Authority, where he gradually moved from the position of auditor to the Department of Education, Youth and Sports, which he has headed since 2021. He has spent practically his whole life playing amateur basketball in Jihlava, and currently enjoys renovating his family house in his free time.

Today, in addition to performing state administration tasks in the field of education, his professional focus is primarily on seeking opportunities to build schools that meet contemporary standards and are able to face current and future challenges. He is dedicated to developing schools as places where students feel comfortable and safe, and where they look forward to coming every day to pursue their interests across a wide spectrum.
