At the Full Moon Stage, she will perform her sixth original album, Expedition (2023), which features collaborations with guitarist David Dorůžka, double bassist Martin Kocián, and drummer Michał Wierzgoń. The ensemble, known as Nikol Bóková Quartet, also recorded the album Elements (2022). Expedition is a jazz-futuristic journey inspired by sci-fi, blending cosmic themes with personal experiences and emotions. “On this album, I’m aboard a spaceship, deep in a submarine in the ocean, on the Faroe Islands, in Japan. Sometimes it’s me, dancing or listening to the wind, and sometimes I am the wind itself,” Bóková explains.
