Post-punk, no wave, jazz and noise collide in long, dramatic compositions that constantly push against the boundaries of stability. This is music driven by tension and unease, one that opens new questions rather than offering easy answers.
Hothouse is an international band based in Prague that came together during the pandemic and has built its reputation on powerful, almost ritualistic live performances. Following their EP Light Was Brighter (2022), recorded at Tropical Cell studio, they released their debut full-length album Finally, We Are Well, Stable on Kabinet Records in autumn 2025. Three years in the making, the record has been widely regarded as one of the standout releases of the second half of last year. Led by Gregory Maliukov and joined by Bianca Krajčovičová, Sergei Petrosian, Nina Salmanli, Martin Hrubý and Filip Miškařík, the band combines punk energy with distinctive songwriting and lyrics exploring alienation, despair and the search for authenticity.
