Her work reflects her experience from practice. In addition to fairy tales, stories, and poetry, she also writes theatre scripts and song lyrics. Her books regularly appear in the Best Books for Children catalogue, and some have been included in the international The White Ravens catalogue. She is a patron of the Zlaté dítě reading competition associated with the Zlatá stuha book award. She shares her educational and literary experience through visits to Czech schools abroad.
