From a small Croatian town to international fame – Baby Lasagna has become the unexpected new voice of an entire generation. You still might not hear him on the radio during your summer holiday in Croatia, but the growing popularity of the unique style and genre Marko Purišić represents under his playful pseudonym is getting more and more attention. And paradoxically, it’s happening abroad even faster than at home.
With his explosive hit Rim Tim Tagi Dim, Baby Lasagna transformed anxiety, irony and rural nostalgia into a global dance anthem. He first gained experience in the rock band Manntra, but when things didn’t take off, he set out on a solo path. In 2024, he brought Croatia its highest-ever result in the world-famous Eurovision Song Contest. And even though he finished second, many saw him as the true winner. His success is clear from his sold-out Prague debut. If you missed it, here’s your chance to hear tracks from his album DMNS & MOSQUITOES and other hits shaping today’s Euro-scene live at Colours of Ostrava!
