When is Iggy Pop playing? And will Ivan Trojan’s performance overlap with Snow Patrol? Colours of Ostrava can now answer these and many other questions based on visitors’ preferences. The festival has published a full program with times. The first day on the Česká spořitelna Stage will feature Ben Cristovao, Shaggy, and Sting. The T-Mobile Stage will open with local band Nedivoč, followed by Matt-Felix and Artemas. The Orlen Drive Stage will host bands like Docuku, This Is Markéta, and Kíla.
WHERE TO VIEW THE PROGRAM
“This year’s program is incredibly diverse, mixing legendary musicians with trending acts for younger generations. The individual stages complement each other in attractive ways. After Calin takes over the main stage, rychlí kluci will perform on the Fresh Stage. We appreciate how the dramaturgy naturally leans into cohesion and connection,” says program director Filip Košťálek, naming specific examples: “Shaggy will entertain the crowd alongside Sting. Vladimir 518 has teamed up with 7krát3 for this summer, and on the Full Moon Stage, the Kill Your Rap Idols show will bring a unique fusion of music and opinion, including Berlin Manson, Fvck_kvlt, or Dušan Vlk. Theater fans can also enjoy a lot.
In addition to Ivan Trojan’s solo act, audiences will be drawn to the performance Něhy, featuring Barbora Poláková surrounded by skilled actors and musicians, or to Jonathan Livingston Racek, backed by DekkaDancers, the Czech Philharmonic, and actors Vilém Udatný and Jiří Lábus.
This year’s festival programming emphasizes values upheld since its beginnings. It makes no distinctions among attendees, offering something for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest. The line-up remains open to both established artists and emerging talents, the latter of whom applied through the Clean Festival competition by EKO-KOM. Their stage will offer a diverse program – from metal by Bound To Break, rap by Katannahy, to the singer-songwriter style of Petra Perka, winner of the REC.stage competition. Thanks to the international competition, the Colours stage will also host Polish rock band How We Met and Slovak band Vážky.
The festival enters its 22nd year with a ticketing innovation.
*“To ensure that visitors get the most out of Colours of Ostrava, we decided this year to offer two-day tickets instead of single-day ones. Everyone who already purchased a one-day ticket had it automatically extended to a second day. You can now attend on Wednesday and Thursday or Friday and Saturday. The *price remains unchanged at 125 EUR,” explains festival director Petra Řezníčková.
Compared to the original plan, several changes occurred – James Smith’s performance was cancelled, and Brazilian artist Jonathan Ferr postponed his show to 2026. Additionally, the theatre performance Jídelní vůz was moved from Saturday to Friday. The festival will announce any further updates on its website, social media, or in the app.
Fans can discover new acts in the line-up via playlists on streaming platforms like Apple Music and Spotify. In the coming days, the full schedule of the Meltingpot discussion forum will also be revealed.
