Since forming in Spring 2013, 47SOUL have launched their high-energy music in the Middle East, completed 3 UK summer festival tours and sold out shows at some of London’s best music venues. The music of 47SOUL combines Debka, the traditional Palestinian street music and dance, with deep electronic beats mixed with sounds of the Middle East.
Overcoming physical and logistical challenges, 47SOUL comes together to play electronic Palestinian dance music. 47SOUL writes and performs to speak about freedom of movement, whether that’s sparking new dance styles or singing about breaking down border check points. For the past 2 years the band has based itself in the UK, spreading their new wave of Arabic music.
