Always in demand, Jon Hopkins has been incredibly busy since the release of 2013's Immunity. Even before the release of Immunity, Jon was known as an expert producer and collaborator, as well as a remixer of artists as diverse as David Lynch, Moderat, Disclosure, Four Tet, Wild Beasts and Purity Ring. With Immunity and Diamond Mine (his collaboration with King Creosote) both attracting Mercury nominations, and his Monsters film score attracting an Ivor Novello nomination, things were unlikely to calm down.

Immunity’s organic, symphonic techno has been a slow burning, high reaching success worldwide. A powerful, multi-faceted beast, packed with the most aggressively dancefloor-focused music Hopkins has ever made, Immunity is about achieving euphoric states through music. Inspired by the arc of an epic night out, the album peaks with Collider, a huge, apocalyptic, techno monster and dissolves with the quiet, heartbreakingly beautiful closer, Immunity, a track featuring vocals from King Creosote. Immunity is a confident, dramatic record defined by an acute sense of physicality and place.

Two years of live touring followed Immunity’s release, culminating in sold-out shows at London’s Brixton Academy and Royal Festival Hall. Since then, in addition to working on his fifth solo album, projects have included scoring the prestigious Barbican production of Hamlet with Benedict Cumberbatch, collaborations with Natasha Khan of Bat For Lashes and Bonobo, and productions for London Grammar and Coldplay.

Early in 2017 Jon re-emerged to work his magic as a consummate DJ at festivals and dancefloors across the world, and new live and DJ shows are just starting to be announced for 2018.
