Partial to a bit of pop, rock, cabaret and punk, Peszek is a celebrity back in Poland where fans fully embrace her non-conformist nature.
A star on theatre stages as well as TV and films since the 90s, it has to be said music is her main domain - and a channel to convey provocative views. Four years have passed since her last album, however her passion and drive are still going strong.“Karabin is a pacifist album expressed through militant means. My dream is for these songs to bring strength to people in such turbulent times and for people to be less afraid. Because fear and freedom are conflicting concepts, ”says Peszek of the new album.
