The band D.Y.K. is the main musical project of the Czech singer and actor Vojtěch Dyk. He approached Ondrej Pivec, a Czech Grammy winner living in the USA, a keyboardist and Hammond organ player, and in 2017 and 2019, respectively, he went to New York City to record a completely original album with local musicians called D.Y.K.
Ondřej Pivec and the singer La Toya Kennedy from the band Kennedy Administration participated in the creation of the album. The trio of authors then created a record unusual in Czech terms, floating on the waves of black soul, funk, jazz, with frequent gospel techniques. The concerts of D.Y.K. are charged with the energy of top musicians, playfulness and joy of music. The line-up of the D.Y.K. band is therefore as follows.
