The Big Bang stage

How to recreate the Big Bang and study the behavior of matter in the early universe? In this lecture, you will learn how to create the Big Bang matter in a laboratory and how to reach the highest man-made temperatures and densities. You will also find out how we study this almost perfect and the most vortical fluid so far observed.

Barbara is an assistant professor at FJFI ČVUT in Prague. She works in the field of high-energy nuclear and particle physics. Her research is focused on studying hot and dense matter that is believed to have existed shortly after the Big Bang. She studied at Warsaw University of Technology then worked at FJFI ČVUT and Utrecht University.
