He has held several academic leadership roles, including department head, faculty dean, and director of the Center of Advanced Applied Sciences. He serves on national and international advisory boards focused on physics and quantum technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His research spans quantum optics, communication, and information, including topics like quantum walks, optical networks, boson sampling, and quantum state comparison. He is a fellow of the Institute of Physics, the Optical Society of America, and Academia Europaea.
