Since 2006 he has been heading Magaz\u00edn DNES. As a writer, he has become known mainly for his book biographies and interviews with biathlete Gabriela Koukalov\u00e1, doctors Vladim\u00edr Bene\u0161 and Marek Dvo\u0159\u00e1k, detective Josef Mare\u0161 and, most recently, with expert on counterterrorism Adam Doln\u00edk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Martin started his career at the age of 16 in the Orlicke local newspaper, for which he wrote reports from the district football championship. In 1998, he left East Bohemia for Prague, where he studied journalism at Charles University and worked at the editorial office of MF DNES.
