He can engage even those who usually switch the news off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has worked for Czech Television since 2017. In recent years, he has reported from Poland, the Baltic states, and war-affected Ukraine. Since September 2025, he has been based in Istanbul, from where he covers developments in Turkey, the Balkans, and the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He studied journalism at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University and is a co-author of the documentaries The Last Revolution and The Year of Covid. In 2024, he was included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 selection in the Media category. He speaks fluent English, French, Polish, and Russian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He comes from a Greek family whose ancestors found a new home in Czechoslovakia after the Greek Civil War. In his youth, he played football for Ban\u00edk Ostrava.
