We all have certain truths that we believe in, but others do not. These basic beliefs are necessary to protect us from the flood of information we face every day. They act as a defence mechanism against the feeling that we live in a world we don\u2019t understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The relevance of available information should ideally be guaranteed by its provider\u2019s credibility, but the consumer\u2019s demand always aligns with what they want to believe, not whether the source is verifiable. Disinformation thus becomes a highly effective tool for manipulating public opinion. It divides society, generations, and even families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The original production is loosely inspired by the book Predictably Irrational by American psychologist Dan Ariely, which asks the question: “Why do seemingly rational people believe completely irrational truths?” Our creators take a satirical look at the Czech household, revealing the flaws in the ideological beliefs of its members, who are generationally disconnected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The production features expressive expressions and, in line with the author\u2019s artistic concept, optical illusions, and contrasting lighting effects are used on stage. The performance is suitable for audiences aged 13 and above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
