Earlier in her career, she helped uncover pro-Russian disinformation networks in the Czech Republic and investigated how people close to former president Milo\u0161 Zeman built business interests around his time in office. She later captured these findings in her book Zemanovo fin\u00e1le.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is the recipient of the Novin\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e1 k\u0159epelka award, which recognises outstanding journalistic achievements by reporters under the age of 33. Despite starting in journalism nearly a decade ago without great self-confidence or ambitions to make a name for herself, she gradually developed the drive that has made her one of the country\u2019s most prominent investigative journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She says her ambitions grew largely out of the \u201cexistential crises of adolescence\u201d and a feeling that ordinary people, often underestimated by others, can change the world.
