Since 2023, he has been leading T\u0159ineck\u00e9 \u017eelez\u00e1rny, the largest steel producer in the Czech Republic, guiding the company through one of the most challenging periods in the history of the European steel industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He studied Materials Engineering at\u00a0V\u0160B \u2013 Technical University of Ostrava\u00a0and built his career in management positions across the industry in the Czech Republic and abroad, including at V\u00edtkovice Heavy Machinery, Pilsen STEEL and the British company Sheffield Forgemasters. He joined T\u0159ineck\u00e9 \u017eelez\u00e1rny as someone who understands industrial infrastructure and its vulnerabilities from the inside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under his leadership, the company is preparing the largest investment in its modern history: a transition to an electric arc furnace that will significantly reduce the carbon footprint of production. At the helm of the company, he advocates for sustainable development and the stability of the steel industry as a strategic sector of Czech manufacturing, while openly pointing out the conditions required for success: without adequate support from the Czech government and the European Union, such an investment does not make economic sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He speaks candidly about what the European steel industry truly needs. Only high-quality steel will survive, and his task is to ensure that T\u0159ineck\u00e9 \u017eelez\u00e1rny remains in that category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
