He represented the United Kingdom twice in missions of the&nbsp;European Union, also served diplomatically in Brazil and Croatia, and between 2018 and 2022 was the British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Matt Field has served as Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Czech Republic since 2023, where he became widely known through the campaign #JsemTuNovej. Before joining the British diplomatic service, he worked for&nbsp;Oxfam&nbsp;and as a teacher. He studied Religious Studies, earned an MBA, and also holds a master\u2019s degree in Japanese Studies.
