Kate\u0159ina Klapilov\u00e1 leads the research Centre for Sexual Health and Interventions at the National Institute of Mental Health. She focuses on both clinical and preventive research in human sexuality and serves as the guarantor of the Parafilik programme and the SexHelp crisis line: the National Helpline for Sexual and Gender Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She holds a PhD in medical psychology and psychopathology, a European certificate in psychosexology, and comprehensive training in psychotherapy. Her work is grounded in scientific evidence and attentive to human diversity. Over the long term, she aims to help shape a public space where sexuality can be discussed without prejudice and with respect. As a therapist, she specializes in working with sexuality within couples and in programmes for individuals at risk of committing sexual offences.
