There, experienced professionals from the charity organisation <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/adra.cz\/\">ADRA<\/a><\/strong> will be ready to help. Whether you need crisis intervention, emotional support, or simply a quiet moment away from the noise and crowds, <strong>this is your safe space<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where can I find the Mental Health tent?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To make it easy for you to find your safe space, we\u2019ve placed the Mental Health tent right <strong>by the main entrance, between the Information point and First Aid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to prevent feeling overwhelmed?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Before you head to Colours<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcac <strong>Talk openly<\/strong> beforehand about your feelings or any worries with people you trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\udec1 Practise a <strong>calming breathing technique<\/strong>: breathe in for 5 seconds, hold for 2, breathe out for 5, hold for 2. Repeat until you feel more relaxed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcf2 Save this number: <strong>116 123 <\/strong>\u2014 the free, 24\/7 mental health helpline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc42 If you\u2019re sensitive to noise, <strong>bring earplugs<\/strong> (you can also pick some up at the Mental Health tent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>During Colours<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc40 Take some time to explore the festival site and <strong>find quiet spots<\/strong> where you can catch your breath throughout the day. We also recommend visiting the <strong>Mental Health tent<\/strong>\u2014you\u2019ll find it by the main entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\udd1d Agree on <strong>meeting points with your friends<\/strong> in case you get separated or if someone isn\u2019t feeling well. It\u2019s also a good idea to have a <strong>group chat <\/strong>to <strong>share your locations<\/strong>, photos, and funny moments during the day. If your phone runs out of battery, don\u2019t worry\u2014there are plenty of <strong>charging stations <\/strong>around the site, so you\u2019ll be back online in no time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd0b Staying for all four days? Brilliant! We suggest <strong>easing into it gently<\/strong> to avoid running out of energy on day one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\udef6 <strong>Be kind to yourself<\/strong>. Pay attention to how you\u2019re feeling and <strong>adjust your plans accordingly<\/strong>. Colours offers a packed programme, but even Superman couldn\u2019t catch everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf7d\ufe0f Plan your day with <strong>regular breaks for food, plenty of water, and rest<\/strong>. Carry a refillable water bottle to top up at any of the <strong>drinking fountains<\/strong> around the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf7a We know you know this, but we\u2019ll say it anyway \u2014 <strong>drink responsibly and take breaks between drinks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca5 <strong>Avoid arguments and heavy conversations<\/strong>, especially if you\u2019ve had a few drinks. It\u2019s easier to sort things out with a clear head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u26fa <strong>Plan your journey back to your accommodation in advance<\/strong>, so you\u2019re not worrying about it when your feet are worn out after dancing all day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udeb6 Remember, <strong>it\u2019s perfectly okay to leave whenever you want<\/strong>. Just let your friends know so they don\u2019t worry about you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to do if you suddenly don\u2019t feel well<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>You can also find these steps on an information card available at the Mental Health tent.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start by taking <strong>deep breaths<\/strong>: breathe in for 5 seconds, hold for 2, breathe out for 5, hold for 2. Repeat as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Focus on the <strong>\u201chere and now.\u201d<\/strong> Count things around you, look for objects of the same colour, tense and relax your muscles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Move away from the crowd and noise<\/strong>. Find a quiet spot or visit the <strong>Mental Health tent<\/strong> by the main entrance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Have a drink of water<\/strong> and sit down.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you don\u2019t feel like talking to anyone in person, call the free <strong>Mental Health Helpline<\/strong> on <strong>116 123<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don\u2019t hesitate to approach <strong>staff in purple T-shirts<\/strong> anywhere on site, or come to the <strong>Mental Health tent<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If something truly traumatic has happened, remember we\u2019re on your side at the Mental Health tent and here to help.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2764\ufe0f This project was made possible thanks to the support and collaboration of ADRA, IKEA, AVION, and BESTCONT.
