Over the years, Grammy-nominated musician and producer ZHU has earned acclaim for his forward-looking vision. His debut album, GENERATIONWHY, topped Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart and landed on the Billboard200, not to mention he’s had dozens of tracks hit the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. These accolades have earned him partnerships with like-minded brands including Pokemon, Luminosity and Leica.
In 2021, ZHU released his third studio album, DREAMLAND 2021 (and a DELUXE album which included seven tracks that did not appear on the original album). Billboard named DREAMLAND 2021 as one of the “50 Best Albums of 2021 So Far” upon its release in April.
This year, ZHU released a mixtape titled “Musical Chairs Mixtape Vol 1”, toured with Swedish House Mafia, headlined some of the largest festivals in the world (Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits to name a few), previewed his own fashion line “NIGHTDAY” during his EDC set in Las Vegas and capped the year off with 2 sold out shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
But all of this success has never been the point – ZHU just wants to head to the dancefloor and dream up better worlds.
