Few singer-songwriters can take their listeners into a world where they are immersed only in their own perception of themselves, while focusing on subtle tones underscored by soulful lyrics. The unmistakable English singer-songwriter Sam Garrett maintains his own musical path that reflects his knowledge of Eastern philosophy, yoga and, not least, Rastafarian wisdom.
Sam's musical world is not just about notes and chords, it is a reflection of his personal journey. Thanks to his father who introduced him to musicians such as Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder, he was exposed to a plethora of multi-genre concerts that became his inspiration. He formed his first band at the age of 12, and before embarking on a solo career, he spent a lot of time immersing himself in the rich nature surrounding his birthplace. It was from this period of his life that his first EP, Be Easy, was released in 2014.
