Mila is an award winning, internationally exhibited artist, who has shown in many countries including Britain, USA, France and the Czech Republic over the last decade. Her work has become part of important private and public collections, including that of Queen Elizabeth II, former Czech President Václav Havel, Coldplay and the V&A Museum in London, and has featured in numerous publications.

Mila gained an MA degree in Art, English Language and Psychology at the Charles University in Prague, whilst simultaneously studying for her BA degree in Fine Art Printmaking at the University of Gloucestershire. She received her Master´s degree at the Royal College of Art and has subsequently lectured at Coventry University and The University of Gloucestershire. 

In 2003, Mila was appointed the first Artist in Residence at the Cheltenham Ladies' College, where she founded and ran an Etching studio till 2010. 

Between 2006 – 2007 Mila’s works were exhibited in Czech Embassies and Czech Centres around the globe with the Czech President in attendance at the Prague exhibition and shows in London, Paris, New York and Washington DC. She became the youngest ever elected Academician at the Royal West of Academy in Bristol. 

The year 2014 was a milestone for Mila's career, her work reached over 400 million people when she was commissioned to make the artwork for the Coldplay Ghost Stories album and 4 singles.

Mila’s graphic work “All the Rivers That Flow Through Me” was handpicked by superstar artist Grayson Perry for prominent position in the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition, then chosen as the one artwork out of 10,000 submissions to represent the Royal Academy online as well as in the Evening Standard’s ES Magazine.

In 2022, Mila launched her “All the Rivers that Flow Through Me” mid-career retrospective.
