The Malalata music project has been on the scene for 16 years and is synonymous with a unique fusion of Balkan beats, gypsy music, reggae and world music. The pair of Slovak DJs combine these rhythms into distinctive sets, which are complemented by an unbridled and infectiously energetic performance.
Under Malalat's baton, not only clubs all over Europe were pulsating, but also in distant Japan and Mexico. The duo has danced their show at festivals such as Colours of Ostrava, Pohoda, Grape, Uprising and performed on the same stage with aces such as Parov Stelar, Goran Bregović, Shantel, Mahala Rai Banda or Fanfare Ciocarlia. In addition, since 2011, they have been entertaining the Czech and Slovak scene with the genre party Balkan Bashavel, which has won thousands of loyal fans with its unique atmosphere.
