Frankie & The Deadbeats is a group of men of dubious reputation, but as a band they aspire to go high. From filthy places where they had been playing punk and rock’n’roll out loud in the sweat of their faces, they can’t even go anywhere. But now they have heard the call of their hearts, and with the music circulating in their blood since their childhood spent by a campfire, they intend to win hearts of Country Radio listeners as well as convince listeners of all other radios that country music is no Cinderella and hats, shirts and cowboy boots are just cool. But Frankie & The Deadbeats also believe that country music is here for everyone, regardless of skin color or sexual orientation. Sheets belong on a bed, not on a head.
Frankie & The Deadbeats are still quite a novelty on the scene (the band was formed in August 2020), but the individual musicians have a turbulent history in famous Czech punk bands such as Hanba, Prague Conspiracy, Unholy Preachers, TiNG, Inverta Storca and others. In April 2021, they released their first single “Let It Rain” as a tasting of their first album, followed by the very first video “Cowboys & Dreamers”. “The Shining” album was published by Pushteek Records on 1st September 2021 (listen to HERE).
