They use every ounce of their creativity to build something unique that boils down to an infectious live energy.

Hailing from both Porto and Luanda, they are grounded between a fusion that started with kuduro and rock and roll and that now spans genres and influences that are spread out through a multitude of cultures that can go from Africa to Europe and from South America to the States. After releasing two records and creating a regular presence in European festivals (with stops in such landmarks as Roskilde, Lowlands or Rock En Seine) they have a new record which came out in 2016 with a fresh take on their already unique brand of music.

It’s called “Capuca” and it is a collaboration with Congo born and Canadian based musician Pierre Kwenders. It blends melodies that derive from western electronic pop music, vocalsthat blend Angola’s fierce kuduro style with infectious Congolese chanting and rhythms more akin toColombia’s cumbia dance music. It’s a breath of fresh air for the band and just one of the first spellbinding songs that will come out of Wanga: their upcoming third record produced by Moullinex and to be released by Discotexas (Universal/!K7).
